A few nights ago, I could not find rest, so I quietly left our bedroom to walk the downstairs. Room to room. Listening to the quiet and looking out into the starlit sky, there was an overwhelming peace that draped over me like a warm blanket. It was at that moment; I was reassured of His Great and Unconditional love. It was a watershed moment for me.
We all experience heartache. But. I believe it is what we choose to do with that hurt which will define our character. So. I draw closer. I seek further. I remember. I remember how good it feels to be forgiven. So, I forgive. With the Mercy I have been granted; I choose to extend. Though there may be a plethora of ‘why’s?’, there will only be one answer. Always. Love. I choose to love as He loves.
“It’s the Holy Spirit’s job to convict. God’s job to judge, and my job to love.”
~ Billy Graham
“There are far, far better things ahead than anything we leave behind.”
~ C.S. Lewis
