I gave Thanks upon hearing my newborns cry. New life had entered into the room. Vast love escapes my heart as I hold my first born within my arms. I am a Mother. I have a son.
I gave Thanks as I sat next to my Beloved Grandmother as she drew her last breath. Leaving this world behind. And entering into Glory. She was free from pain. She could walk once again. She was home.

"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified." Isaiah 61:3 KJV
I gave Thanks when tears fell. And my soul was weary from pain and heartache. I would not forget: "For you O Lord, are a shield about me, my Glory, and the lifter of my head." Psalm 3:3 ESV
I give Thanks when sickness continues to wage war against my body. As it is a reminder of my humanity. And that He is whom where I draw strength.
I give Thanks on the bad days, as they bring back to remembrance of great days past. And even greater ones yet to come.
Today I give Thanks for the breath within my lungs. For the song within my heart. For the woman that I have become. For the journey that lies ahead. Today I give Thanks to 'ELOHIM' Creator, Mighty, and Strong. To 'EL SHADDIA' God Almighty. To 'YAHWEH-JIREH' who is my Provider. To 'YAHWEH-RAPHA' my Lord who Heals. To 'YAHWEH-SHALOM' My Lord who gives me Peace. And Today I give Thanks to 'ABBA FATHER' to whom I have an intimate relationship with. To Whom I love and Whom loves me.
