Through my Daughter's Perspective

My youngest is an old soul. With wisdom beyond her years, there is always something to learn through her bright, brown eyes. She believes wholeheartedly that beauty lies within. Our spirit is made up of so many intricate details. It is who we were created to be that matters most.

. “For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.”  Psalm 139:13-14 (ESV)

Emma writes, “… it’s ok to be different. Different is PERFECT!

Amen to that.

Beauty is heard within the words which flow from our heart. In the actions we betray. It is found through, forgiveness and Grace. It is in the recognition, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 (NIV)

Beauty is kindness. It is a servant’s heart found willing to help where able.

Beauty is found in our brokenness, where the light shines through the fragmented pieces of our story.

Beauty took place upon a bloodied cross run red with love. Where Redemption began, and the assurance of Eternal Life, found inside an empty tomb.
