What does it mean to have faith like a child?
In Matthew 18, Jesus tells us, "Whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." It is the submission of our will that Christ calls us.
And what is Faith? In Hebrews 1:11, Paul declares, "Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
The answer is quite simple. And yet a feat that can be very challenging to muster. At age 50, I have attained this as the true heart of the matter and put it into action. I repeat numerous times throughout the day, "Faith like a child."
For many of us, we find our situations quite precarious. Whether financial, physical, or emotional. Yet we must lay all skepticism aside. Surrender all fear. And do not blindly look ahead. But with utter certainty, place our trust in our Heavenly Father. His Grace does not falter. His Mercies are new every morning. He longs to lavish His love on His children. To see it through until the day of its completion.
