I've put on my boxing gloves per say. I am taking on the enemy, but this time suiting up the proper way. With biblical strategy from the written word. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against, the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes,[and it is upon me, upon you] you may be able to stand your ground,...Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace...take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. ~ Ephesians 6:12-17 NIV emphasis added.
In truth I am righteous for He chose me from my mother's womb. There is an unshakable peace within the corners of my mind and found in the grandeur of Faith and the glory of Salvation. Did you know that His unconditional love comes running every time we whisper the Father's name? The darkness flees and His light comes flooding in. Plain and simple. This is the beauty of Christianity. The very essence of freedom when we chose to believe, "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." ~Isaiah 53:5 NKJV
No more will I cower in fear and shame, believing that I have lost this fight against the illnesses at hand. Ha! Lies!!! I take a stand now and continue onward to fight this battle until I draw my very last breath. For then I will be home.
