For most who know me, I have quite the exuberant laugh. I am
also known to find humor in even the ‘stickiest ‘ of situations. A gift I
rather cherish, especially nowadays, when these days are filled with such
animosity.
The other evening I was sitting on our back patio enjoying
the nature that surrounds when I noticed a pair of rabbits frolicking about. I
could not help but chuckle to myself as one would run towards the other. The
second then leaping over his friends back. Just as if enjoying a game of, ‘leap
frog’. Later to my amazement, I noticed a, young grackle, peering downward at
the ground and then fluttering about. What on earth? A chipmunk was popping its
head out of his burrow, seemingly to find great amusement in startling the bird.
In Ecclesiastes 3, we learn,“There is a time and season
for every activity under the Heavens.” “A
time to plant. A time to Heal. To Build. A time to gather what once was
scattered. A time to Embrace. To Seek, Keep and Mend. To Speak (and extend love).
A time for Peace. To Dance. To replace weeping with Laughter.” There is no time like the present! It only
takes one to ignite a flame which can spread like wildfire. Now wouldn’t that
be something to behold!
